Smith’s Hitting Streak Continues Despite Heritage’s Tough Loss to Neoga; White Shines in Relief Pitching

Zaien Smith extended his hitting streak to five games on Monday (March 25), but the Heritage baseball team lost a 15-0 decision at Neoga.

Anthony Happ had the Hawks’ other hit.

Rylan White continued his superlative series of pitching performances. White appeared in relief in one inning and recorded one strikeout.

In four appearances to date, covering seven innings, White has allowed one earned run and struck out 12 hitters.

Heritage (0-6) returns to action on Thursday (March 28) at Oakwood (3-4).
