Stevens Shines with Six-Hitter as St. Joseph-Ogden Softball Secures Win Over Bishop McNamara

Madison Stevens fired a six-hitter on Tuesday (March 26) as St. Joseph-Ogden’s softball team topped visiting Kankakee Bishop McNamara, 7-2, at Randy Wolken Field.

Stevens walked no one and struck out six batters.

Timera Blackburn-Kelly ended with two hits, two runs scored and drove in one run. Grace Osterbur also contributed two hits and Spartan teammate Hayden Dahl collected three RBI. Addison Frick tallied two runs.

SJ-O (4-1) returns to action on Friday (March 29) in the first day of a tournament at Rantoul.
