Waller’s Bat Leads St. Joseph-Ogden to Convincing 9-1 Win Over Bloomington Central

Braxton Waller produced his third three-hit game of the season on Monday (April 1), leading the St. Joseph-Ogden baseball team to a 9-1 victory at home against Bloomington Central Catholic at Meier Field.
Waller was 3-for-3 with two RBI.
Will Haley, Tanner Jacob and Kodey McKinney all stroked one hit. Garrett Denhart and Jacob both scored two runs.
Trevor Ames (3-0) worked the first five innings and recorded five strikeouts. He allowed three hits and walked three batters.
Bryson Houchens finished with two hitless innings and fanned three hitters.
SJ-O (12-2) returns to action on Thursday (April 4) at Rantoul. The Spartans are 2-0 in Illini Prairie Conference games.
