Swisher Leads SJ-O Golf with 41, Spartans Fall to Rantoul/PBL at Brookhill

Devan Swisher fired a 41 on Thursday (Sept. 5) for St. Joseph-Ogden’s golf team, which dropped a 166-179 decision to Rantoul/Paxton-Buckley-Loda at Brookhill Golf Course.
Swisher placed second individually.
Other SJ-O scorers were Garrett Loschen (44), Asher Pruemer (45), Graham (Ray (49), Wade Clark (51) and Trevor Ames (52).
On Friday (Sept. 6), Ray had the team’s low score (88) as the Spartans finished in 15th place place in the 20-school Danville Invitational at Turtle Run.
He was followed by Loschen (90), Swisher (92), Pruemer (100), Ames (106) and Isaiah Uskali (110).
After eight meets, Pruemer (three times), Swisher (three times) and Ray (twice) have taken turns carding three team’s best score.
The Spartans (4-3) return to action on Tuesday (Sept.10) at Brookhill against Armstrong-Potomac.
