Heritage FFA kicks off 2021-22 School Year
The Heritage High School FFA kicked off the 2021-22 school year with a “Kickback Cookout” for students and staff.
“It was so nice to see familiar faces after the long summer. Everyone was happy to see their friends and enjoy some lunch,” Heritage FFA reporter Gwen Happ said.
The FFA officers served and grilled hot dogs, served chips and cookies as guests visited together and played outdoor games like bags, spikeball, tug-of-war, and a messy game of egg toss.
The 28-member team is already gearing up for the Broadlands Festival and Harvest Lunch this fall. They are also looking forward to competing in Career and Leadership Development Events, monthly Chapter meetings and the 2022 Banquet.
