Heritage Baseball Falls Short Despite Strong Performances from Struck and Smith

Brennan Struck and Zaien Smith both rapped two hits on Thursday (March 14), but the Heritage baseball team dropped a narrow 5-3 decision at Urbana.

The Hawks’ runs were scored by Haiden Davis, Destin Nickle and Smith.

Smith and Rylan White provided the team’s RBIs. White fanned five hitters in two innings, but took the loss.

Heritage (0-2) returns to action on Monday (March 18) at Georgetown-Ridge Farm.
